The first step is to initiate detailed process mapping to identify the areas of focus and actions required to achieve the desired results. We assist clients in developing a business case to gain stakeholder commitment in recognizing the economic benefits of a global service delivery model. Through the development of the process mapping, we determine the respective responsibilities and inter-relationships of the various parties involved in the relocation process and, from this, develop detailed process flowcharts to be utilized by all GMAC GRS employees assigned to the global client team; thus ensuring consistent process application globally.

GMAC GRS’ system has intuitive functionality both for our internal work flow and for communications with our suppliers relevant to any of our clients’ initiations, This one time entry and systematic flow of data ultimately ensures accuracy in all system outputs, i.e. management reporting, invoicing, payroll reporting, tax partner updates and employee required reporting and ultimately brings more cost savings to your bottom line.

Our system also offers an international assignment compensation solution for managing our clients’ global workforce, particularly in the administration and management of their global compensation program. This tool is completely integrated and interfaced with our operating system and enhances our global technology solution through fully-automated international compensation functions such as cost projection (cost estimate), balance sheet (payroll) and a year-end compensation accumulator module for year end reporting.

In addition, GMAC Global Relocation Services will work closely with you to customize a web portal (MyGMACRelo.com) which will house checklists, relevant contact information for both the client and GMAC GRS, policy information specific to the transferring employee, expense submittal tool, destination research tools and client specific hyperlinks. The site also allows our clients to store other documents used in the relocation process for easy transferring employee access. This web portal allows you and your transferring employees to enter one central location to obtain information for all of their relocation and assignment needs.
